Hong Kong Airlines to Begin Route to Auckland

DSC_0836Hong Kong Airlines announced that it plans to launch new daily service to Auckland, New Zealand on November 10. The carrier will operate the service using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Flights are scheduled to depart Hong Kong at 3:20 p.m. and arrive in Auckland at 7:30 a.m. the next day. From Auckland, flights will depart at 9:30 a.m. and arrive in Hong Kong at 3:55 p.m.

Hong Kong Airlines’ A330-200s that will operate on the route are outfitted with 24 seats in business class, and 259 seats in economy.  The business class-cabin has a 2-2-2 configuration, with seats able to recline up to 155°. 

Last month, the carrier began twice-daily service between Hong Kong and Kuching, Malaysia.
