The Cotai Strip, an area in Macao known for its hotel-casinos and resemblance to the Las Vegas Strip, will soon be getting a taste of Paris. The Parisian Macao hotel is slated to open on the strip in the second half of this year.

A highlight of the property will be its half-scale recreation of the Eiffel Tower at the entrance. The structure will have observation decks with views of the Cotai Strip, as well as a restaurant, Le Chine, that will serve a combination of Eastern and Western cuisine.

The hotel will have over 2,900 guestrooms and suites, with at least one third of the rooms offering views of the Eiffel Tower re-creation. Guests will be able to attend shows in the property’s Parisian Theatre, which can accommodate up to 1,200 people.

The hotel will also have over 150 boutique shops, all situated in a setting that is reminiscent of Paris’ Champs Elysees, a boulevard known for its theaters, cafes, and shops. The property’s rendering of the boulevard will also have street artists, mimes, and buskers.

The hotel will have over 55,872 square feet (5,200 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 36,597-square-foot (3,400-square-meter) Parisian Ballroom, as well as seven separate meeting spaces. The property will also have a spa, a kid’s club, and a health club, which will have an outdoor pool and waterpark.
