Airline alliance SkyTeam announced the opening of a new lounge at Dubai International Airport. The lounge is located at the airport’s Concourse D in Terminal 1.

The new lounge is over 10,333 square feet (960 square meters), and has seating for 180 passengers. Complimentary hot and cold snacks, which SkyTeam says represents the cuisines of its member airlines that operate in Dubai, are available within.

The lounge also has a business center and printing facilities, as well as shower facilities. There is also a separate TV room and a children’s room, and a selection of local and international newspapers and magazine are available.

The new lounge is open 24 hours a day, to first- and business-class passengers, and passengers with Elite Plus status, on any of the ten SkyTeam member airlines that serve the airport, including Aeroflot, Air France, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Kenya Airways, Korean Air, KLM, Middle East Airlines, Saudia, and Tarom.

The lounge is the fifth SkyTeam lounge in the world, along with ones in London Heathrow, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Istanbul.
