Shangri-La Debuts New Loyalty Program to Benefit Event Planners with Discounts and Points

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced the launch of a new loyalty program for meeting and travel professionals, the Shangri-La Events Collection and Golden Circle Event Planner Rewards.

The Events Collection provides elements such as team building exercises and destination events for groups.

The new program also automatically provides event planners with 3% of their event spend to redeem on additional Shangri-La services. Additionally, event planners can redeem up to 50,000 Golden Circle Points against the cost of the event, while 10% of an event spend may be used as credit towards the next event at any Shangri-La hotel.

The Golden Circle Event Planner Rewards program offers event planners the opportunity to earn up to 40,000 Golden Circle points when booking an event. The program also allows event planners to earn double points for any further meetings or events booked in the same calendar year.
