JAL, Finnair to Expand Codeshare

DSC_4882Japan Airlines announced that it plans to expand its codeshare agreement with Finnair.

Beginning May 7, Japan Airlines will be able to place its code on Finnair-operated flights between Fukuoka, Japan and Helsinki, Finland.

The new codeshare flights will depart Fukuoka Airport at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at Helsinki Airport at 1:55 p.m. Flights from Helsinki to Fukuoka will depart at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 8 a.m. the next morning.

Fukuoka will be the fourth Japanese destination from Europe to be included in JAL’s joint business ventures with Finnair and British Airways. Also included are Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.
