Hyatt announced the opening of a new property in Chandigarh, a city in Northern India. Located approximately 161 miles (260 kilometers) north of Delhi, the Hyatt Regency Chandigarh is the first of the brand’s hotels in the city.

The property offers 211 guestrooms, including 25 suites. Each room has a 42” LED TV, a mini bar, bathtub, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Amaira Spa, which is set to open in June, will have a 24-hour fitness center and six treatment rooms. The property also provides a temperature-controlled outdoor pool.

Dining options include Urban Café, which offers Northern Indian, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Western cuisines; Browse, a 24-hour café that serves Indian and international dishes; and the Pool Bar, which offers poolside drinks and grilled food. Additionally, Piccante, an Italian restaurant, and Stage, a bar with a collection of scotches, cognacs, single malts, bourbons, Irish whiskeys, and vintage Champagnes, are scheduled to open this June.

The hotel hosts over 36,000 square feet (3,345 square meters) of meeting and event space, including an 8,711-square-foot (809-square-meter) ballroom.
