Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of a new DoubleTree hotel in the South Shore area outside of Boston. The DoubleTree by Hilton Boston-Rockland was formerly a Holiday Inn, and underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to become a DoubleTree property.

The hotel offers 127 guestrooms, each with a 47” HD TV, a coffeemaker, and complimentary Wi-Fi. A 24-hour fitness center and a heated outdoor pool are also located on the premises.

Guests can dine at the property’s restaurant, Conrad’s Bar and Grill, which features American cuisine.

The hotel provides approximately 4,000 square feet (371 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, and guests can use the property’s 24-hour fitness center.

In celebration of the opening, members of Hilton’s HHonors loyalty program can earn double points for stays though September 30 of this year.

The hotel is located 21 miles (33 kilometers) south of Boston Logan International Airport.
