DSC_0566Air France announced the debut Night Service, pre-departure dining for the last two flights leaving New York for Paris starting Monday.

Business-class passengers traveling on Flight 9 and Flight 11, which depart John F. Kennedy International Airport at 9:45 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. respectively, will be invited to enjoy a meal on the ground prior to departure. This in turn will provide passengers will more time to sleep in the air.

“We are innovating and anticipating our Business customers need to rest on departure from New York-JFK airport on its night flights,” the airline said in a statement. Passengers will be served their meal, which is the same menu as that offered in flight, in a dedicated dining area in the Air France lounge in Terminal 1. Passengers with a “very healthy appetite” can eat again once the flight is underway, the airline said.

“During the flight, you can therefore enjoy a good night’s sleep in the comfort of the Air France Business class cabin.”
