Aeromexico to Launch Guadalajara-Cancun-Havana Flights
Aeromexico announced that it plans to launch new service to Cancun, with continuing service to Havana, Cuba from Guadalajara on June 1. Additionally, the airline said that it will begin flights between Guadalajara and Merida, the capital of Mexico’s Yucatan state.
Flights to Cancun will depart Guadalajara 10:46 a.m. every day except Tuesdays, and will arrive at 9:50 a.m. From Cancun, flights will depart at 10:46 a.m. and arrive in Havana at 1:02 p.m. Return flights will then depart at 2:02 p.m. and arrive in Cancun at 2:32 p.m., where they will depart at 3:28 p.m. and arrive back in Guadalajara at 6:08 p.m.
Aeromexico will operate the flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Each is equipped with 16 seats in business class, 18 seats in tourist plus, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 126 seats in economy. Seats in business class are 21” wide and have a pitch of 39”.
Flights between Guadalajara and Merida will depart Guadalajara daily at 7:10 a.m. and arrive at 9:35 a.m. From Merida, flights are scheduled to depart at 4 p.m. and arrive in Guadalajara at 6:08 p.m.
The airline will use an Embraer 190 aircraft on the new route. The planes are equipped with 11 seats in business class and 88 in economy. Business-class seats are 19” wide with a pitch of 36”.
