Virgin America Launches San Francisco-Denver Flights
Virgin America announced the start of new service between San Francisco and Denver on Tuesday. The carrier will operate the service three times a day, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flights are scheduled to depart San Francisco International Airport daily at 8:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., as well as at 6 p.m. on every day except Saturday, and arrive at Denver International Airport at 11:45 a.m., 5:15 p.m., and 9:30 p.m., respectively. From Denver, flights will depart daily at 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., and at 7 .m. on every day except Sunday, arriving back in San Francisco at 2:20 p.m., 7:50 p.m., and 8:50 a.m.
Virgin’s Airbus A320s are equipped with eight seats in first class, 12 in Main Cabin Select, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 126 in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 55”.
Last month, the airline announced that it plans to launch new daily flights between Los Angeles and both Honolulu and Maui on May 5 and June 4, respectively.
