Village Voice ‘Choice Eats’ Food Festival Slated for Friday
If you think you might have trouble deciding what to have for dinner Friday, the ninth annual Village Voice “Choice Eats” food festival just might be the answer.
The event, which takes place at 6 p.m. Friday evening at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, features over 60 restaurants representing all of the city’s five boroughs.
The range of choices will be vast Brooklyn Bread Lab, Doughnut Plant, Fletcher’s Brooklyn Barbecue, the Handpulled Noodle, Loi Estiatorio, Luke’s Lobster, Mable’s Smokehouse, Schaller Stube, Sheep Station, Sigmund’s Pretzels, Thai Rock, and Xe May Sandwich Shop.
Admission is available in three levels, general, early entry, and VIP although all attendees get to sample all of the restaurants’ dishes. The VIP ticket does include admission to a private VIP Lounge with a private bar, however.
The Village Voice is partnering with non-profit Slow Food NYC, to whom a portion of the proceeds will be donated.
