Southwest to Increase Flight Frequency at BWI

DSC_0016Southwest Airlines announced that it plans to increase service on a number of routes from Baltimore/Washington International Airport beginning June 5.

The carrier will increase its daily service to Tampa from six to seven flights, as well as its daily service to Hartford, Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport from seven to eight flights on Sundays through Fridays, and from six to seven on Saturdays. The airline’s daily Baltimore-Orlando service will also be increased from nine to ten flights on Sundays through Fridays and from 12 to 13 on Saturdays.

Southwest will also double its Sunday through Friday service to Oakland, California from one to two flights a day, and increase its daily service to Denver from five to six. The carrier will also add an extra flight to its service to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire, increasing the service from eight to nine flights a day Sunday through Friday.

On Sundays, the carrier will increase its flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport from two to three flights, as well as add an extra flight to its five daily flights to Nashville, Tennessee.
