Southwest, Lyft Partner to Offer Rapid Rewards Points

DSC_0819Southwest Airlines announced a new collaboration with Lyft to offer members of the airline’s frequent flyer program points for rides with the ride-hailing service.

The partnership allows first-time Lyft customers who are members of Southwest’s Rapid Rewards program to earn a one-time reward of 1,000 points for their first ride with Lyft.

The offer is valid at 11 markets where Southwest operates through the end of the year, including: Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Chicago’s Midway International Airport, Dallas Love Field, Los Angeles International Airport, Louisville International Airport, Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport, Nashville International Airport, Oakland International Airport, Washington Reagan National Airport, San Antonio International Airport, and San Diego International Airport.

Additionally, Lyft is currently offering first-time riders a $15 discount in these markets through the end of 2016. The two promotions cannot be combined.
