Lufthansa to Add 11 New Destinations including San Jose and Tehran

DSC_0290 (1)Lufthansa announced that it plans to launch 11 new routes this summer from Munich and Frankfurt.

Beginning May 11, the carrier will begin new flights to Denver, Colorado, followed by service to Tehran, Iran on July 4 from its Munich hub. Lufthansa will operate the Denver flight five times a week, and the Tehran flight three times a week.

From Munich, the airline plans to add new flights to Porto, Portugal, as well as the Greek islands of Santorini and Corfu. Service to Porto will be offered four times a week, while the Greek flights will be operated once weekly beginning late next month.

Lufthansa will also begin service from Munich to Debrecen, Hungary and Rzeszów, Poland, as well as to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

On July 1, the airline plans to begin service to San Jose, California from Frankfurt. Lufthansa will operate flights to the Northern California city five times a week.

New European destinations that the airline is adding from Frankfurt this summer include Alicante, Spain and Tirana, Albania.
