ButlerTech Releases New App to Help Users Explore Cities
The Jeeves and Carsons of the world have competition. ButlerTech, a global tech company, announced the launch of CityButler, an app designed to offer travelers a guide to foreign cities.
Users can browse for recommendations for things such as hotels, restaurants, spas, tour operators, shops, events, hairdressers, healthcare centers, and more. ButlerTech says that the app features only top quality business, retailers, and attractions.
The app uses geo-location to locate nearby businesses, and allows users to select a category, where they can then view ratings and reviews. Users can also browse the top picks in each city, such as best restaurants or night pots, as well as order services and book activities through the app, in addition to being able to select a calendar of relevant events.
CityButler is currently available for eight cities, namely Bangkok, London, Manchester, Melbourne, Pattaya, Phuket, Singapore, and Sydney. Additional destinations will be available in the coming months, including Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Milan, Rome, and Chiang Mai.
ButlerTech says that they hope to have the CityButler app available in 100 cities within a year.
CityButler is now available on the Apple App Store, with Android and tablet versions scheduled to be available by the of the year.
