Virgin America announced that it will launch new daily flights between Los Angeles and both Honolulu and Maui on May 5 and June 4, respectively. The new routes will complement the carrier’s recently launched flights between San Francisco and the two Hawaiian cities.

Flights to Honolulu are scheduled to depart Los Angeles International Airport at 10:35 a.m. and arrive at Honolulu International Airport at 1:25p.m. From Honolulu, flights will depart at 2:25 p.m. and arrive back in Los Angeles at 10:55 p.m.

Virgin’s service to Maui will see flights departing Los Angeles at 9:35 a.m. and arriving at Kahului Airport at 12:25 p.m. Flights from Maui to Los Angeles will depart at 1:40 p.m. and arrive at 9:55 p.m.

The carrier will operate both new routes using Airbus A320 aircraft, equipped with eight seats in first class, 12 in Main Cabin Select, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 126 in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 55”.
