Four Seasons Resort Lanai Opens in Hawaii
Four Seasons announced the opening of a new resort on the island of Lanai, Hawaii. The ocean-side Four Seasons Resort Lanai is located atop a red-lava cliff bordering a marine preserve.
The hotel offers 217 guestrooms, 51 being suites. Each room has a 75” LCD TV, and Four Seasons says that the design of the rooms is inspired by Hawaii’s influences, with artisan-produced Nepalese Lokta wallpaper, mahogany floors, and wool hand-woven rugs.
The property has a lagoon-style pool with waterfall, as well as an adults-only retreat, with waterfalls and rock grottos. The hotel also has botanical gardens with outdoor art, sculptures, and daybeds.
A variety of restaurants are also hosted on the premises, including Nobu Lani, which offers Japanese cuisine, One Forty, which offers steaks and Hawaiian seafood, and Kailani, which features Italian cooking. The hotel also offers various bars with juices, coffee, and cocktails, and in-room dining is available.
The resort also features the Jack Nicklaus Signature Manele Golf Course that includes three holes located on cliffs, and is for use only by guests of the hotel.
Lanai is the sixth largest of the eight Hawaiian Islands. Various activities such as scuba diving, horseback riding, hiking, off-roading, and ecological volunteering are available on the island.
