Alaska Airlines to Launch Two New Routes From San Jose to Southern California

DSC_0305 2Alaska Airlines announced that it plans to launch new service linking San Jose, California to both San Diego and Orange County on June 5. Alaska partner SkyWest Airlines will operate the new flights three times a day, using Embraer E175 aircraft equipped with 76 seats.

Flights to Orange County/Santa Ana will depart San Jose International Airport at 7 a.m., 2:05 p.m., and 6:25 p.m. and arrive at John Wayne Airport at 8:15 a.m., 3:19 p.m., and 7:10 p.m., respectively. From Orange County, flights are scheduled to depart at 8:55 a.m., 4 p.m., and 8:20 p.m., arriving back in San Jose at 10:05 a.m., 5:10 p.m., and 9:31 p.m.

San Jose-San Diego flights will depart San Jose at 8:30 a.m., 4:20 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. and will arrive at San Diego International Airport at 9:55 a.m., 5:47 p.m., and 9:55 p.m. Flights from San Diego to San Jose are scheduled to depart t 6:30 a.m., 12 noon, and 6:30 p.m., and arrive in San Jose at 7:55 a.m., 1:24 p.m., and 7:55 p.m.

The new routes will bring the number of destinations offered by Alaska Airlines at San Jose International Airport to 14.
