Hong Kong Airlines, Air Astana Launch Codeshare

DSC_0228 (1)Hong Kong Airlines announced the beginning of a new codeshare agreement with Air Astana.

The partnership allows Hong Kong Airlines passengers to book travel to on Air Astana-operated flights to Altamy, Kazakhstan, while Air Astana customers will be able to book flights to Hong Kong Airlines’ destinations in several countries including China, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Air Astana operates the route on Tuesdays and Fridays, using Boeing 757 aircraft equipped with 16 business-class seats and 150 seats in coach.

Hong Kong Airlines was founded in 2006. The carrier is headquartered in Hong Kong, and currently serves over 30 major cities across Asia Pacific.

Air Astana is the flag carrier of Kazakhstan. The carrier was founded in 2001, offers over 60 domestic and international routes from its hub at Almaty International Airport.
