DSC_0161Argentinian airline Sol Líneas Aéreas ceased operation Friday after first cancelling all of its flights after a contract with Aerolíneas Argentinas, the country’s flag carrier, was terminated.

The airline had employed 300 workers.

Sol Líneas Aéreas was founded in 2005 and had had its main hub at Islas Malvinas International Airport in Rosario, Argentina.

In October, the airline had said it planned to expand its fleet following an investment by Spain’s Air Nostrum in which the Spanish airline took a 40% stake.
