United Airlines announced the opening of a new store at Terminal C of Newark Liberty International Airport. Members of United’s Mileage Plus loyalty program can use their miles to purchase items at the Miles Shop, as well as earn miles for money spent.

The store, managed by OTG, offers products such as electronics, suitcases, and travel kits, as well as children’s clothing and toys for between 600 and 50,000 miles.

In addition, when buying items for cash, Mileage Plus members will earn five miles for every dollar spent.

Newark’s Terminal C became the first airport to accept MileagePlus award miles for food and beverage purchases in November 2014.
