JetBlue Reports Steep Increase in November Traffic

DSC_0453JetBlue Airways announced operational results for November 2015.  The carrier saw an increase in its total traffic and capacity, as well as in its load factor.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic for the month was 3.4 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 14.2% from 3 billion RPMs in November of last year.

The carrier’s capacity also increased, up 10.7% to 4.052 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.66 billion ASMs in November 2014.

JetBlue’s passenger load factor for the month was 83.9%, a 2.5 percentage point increase from 81.4% in the same month last year.
