BMW i3
The BMW i3 with Range Extender is an EV powered by an electric motor that is augmented by a two-cylinder gasoline-fueled engine that drives a generator. he i3 has a carbon-fiber passenger compartment and is encased in composite panels. Everything is lightweight and designed with fuel efficiency in mind and the interior uses very high quality materials that are completely recyclable. The dashboard is a mixture of eucalyptus wood, leather, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic, while the remainder of the cabin uses wool, leather, and metal to give it a polished and high-tech look. Most importantly, it drives like a BMW.
