Starwood announced the opening of the St. Regis Mumbai in India. The property is the first St. Regis hotel to open in the country, as well as in south Asia.

Located in Lower Parel, a commercial, residential, and entertainment district, the hotel has 368 guestrooms and 27 suites, as well as 39 one- and two-bedroom residential suites. The property also has a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and a spa with nine treatment rooms.

Guests can dine at any of the hotel’s nine restaurants and bars, including the Drawing Room, which offers local cuisine and Indian teas; St. Regis Bar, which serves signature cocktails and drinks; Seven Kitchens, which features international cuisine; Yuuka, a Japanese restaurant; By the Mekong, which offers Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes; and the Sahib Room and Kipling Bar, where Indian food is served. In addition, Li Bai features live jazz performances, while Exo, the hotel’s nightclub, and Asilo, the property’s rooftop bar, offer both offer drinks.

The hotel has over 41,979 square feet (3,900 square meters) of meeting and event space, including the outdoor Terrace Garden.
