JetBlue Load Factor Falls Slightly for October

DSC_0264JetBlue Airways announced operational results for October 2015.  The carrier saw an increase in its total traffic and capacity, with a decrease in its load factor.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic for the month was 3.355 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 11.8% from 3 billion RPMs in October of last year.

The carrier’s capacity also increased, up 11.1% to 3.994 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 3.594 billion ASMs in October 2014.

JetBlue’s passenger load factor for the month was 84%, a 0.5 percentage point increase from 83.5% in the same month last year.
