JetBlue Begins JFK-Antigua Route

DSC_0463JetBlue Airways announced the launch of new service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Antigua, half of the two island country of Antigua and Barbuda located in the Leeward Islands of the Eastern Caribbean. The carrier will operate the service three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart JFK at 9:20 a.m. and arrive at Antigua’s V.C. Bird International Airport at 2:32 p.m. From Antigua, flights are scheduled to depart at 3:33 p.m. and arrive in New York at 7:18 p.m.

JetBlue’s Airbus A320 planes are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

Antigua is JetBlue’s 92nd destination, as well as its 34th destination in Latin America and the Caribbean.
