DSC_5820Hilton announced that the Admiral Hotel Mobile, located in Mobile, Alabama, has become a Curio Collection property. The historic boutique hotel originally opened in 1940, and underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation to become a Curio hotel.

The Admiral Hotel itself is a combination of modern décor, 1940s-era architectural elements, exposed brick walls, and original flooring. It has 156 guestrooms and five suites, as well as an outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center.

Guests can choose from two dining options, namely Corner 251, an all-day café and bakery, and Launch, which offers classic American dishes.

Over 6,700 square feet (622 square meters) of meeting and event space is located on the premises, including a 2,400-square-foot (222-square-meter) ballroom with original hardwood floors from 1940.

In celebration of the hotel’s opening, Hilton is offering members of its Hilton HHonors loyalty program double points for stays completed at the property between December 1, 2015 and March 31, 2016.
