Emirates Airline announced a new configuration of the Airbus A380 superjumbo that will make it the most densely packed A380 ever.

The four-engine double decker will lose its first-class cabin including its legendary in-flight showers as well as some business-class seats. The plane will have a total of 58 seats in business class and 557 in coach.

The theoretical limit for the total number of seats is, however, roughly 40 seats higher were an airline to use 11-abreast seating in coach on the main deck.

The Airbus A380 was introduced into service in 2007 with launch customer Singapore Airlines. Other major operators of the type include Emirates, Lufthansa, and Qantas. A total of 173 have been delivered to customers as of October 2015.
