American Express and Airbnb Partner on Payments and Loyalty Program

American Express and Airbnb announced on Tuesday a partnership that includes loyalty program and cross-platform integration.

Effective immediately, American Express card members can sign up for Airbnb using existing americanexpress.com login credentials using the “Sign Up with Amex” button on the Airbnb site. American Express will auto-populate all account and payment information and the card member will be visible as an American Express member via a badge placed on the Airbnb profile.

In addition, American Express card members can check their points balance and use existing Membership Rewards points to pay all or part of their booking. They can also use Amex Express Checkout, which auto-populates credit card information from the card member’s account.

American Express is offering eligible card members in the United States a $50 rebate when they spend $100 or more on Airbnb through the end of the year.
