Air China to Link Chengdu with Paris

DSC_0706Air China announced that it will begin new non-stop service between Chengdu and Paris on December 12. The carrier will offer the service four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flights will depart Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 1:30 p.m. and arrive at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 6:20 a.m. From Paris, flights will depart at 12:15 a.m. and arrive back in Beijing at 6:00 a.m. the next day.

Air China will operate the service using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The planes are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class and 207 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

Paris will become the airline’s fifth European destination, after Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, and Moscow.
