Air Canada Inaugurates Toronto-Dubai Service
Air Canada announced the launch of new service between Toronto and Dubai. The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using both Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
Flights will depart Toronto at 8:55 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Dubai at 6:40 p.m. the next day. From Dubai, flights are scheduled to depart at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Toronto at 5:00 p.m.
Air Canada will operate all of the flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with the exception of Tuesday flights to Dubai, and Wednesday flights to Toronto, which will be operated using 787-8s. Beginning next February, the airline will switch to a 787-9 on all Toronto-Dubai flights.
The carrier’s 787-9s are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats In premium economy, and 247 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide, and have a pitch of 80”.
