United to Link San Francisco with Tel Aviv

DSC_0113United Airlines announced that it will offer service from San Francisco to Tel Aviv on March 30 next year. The carrier will operate the route three times a week, using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

Flights will depart San Francisco International Airport at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv at 8:10 p.m. the next day. From Tel Aviv, flights will depart at 12:55 a.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in San Francisco at 6:00 a.m. the same day.

United’s 787-9s are equipped with 48 lie-flat seats in business class, 88 seats in economy plus, and 116 seats in economy. First-class seats are 22” wide, and have a bed length of 78”.

The new service will be in addition to the carrier’s current Newark-Tel Aviv route.
