Delta to Begin Detroit-Munich Flights

DSC_0595 (1)Delta Air Lines announced that it will launch new service between Detroit, Michigan and Munich on May 26, 2016. The carrier will operate the service six days a week, using Boeing 767-400ER aircraft.

Flights will depart Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport at 9:55 p.m. on every day except Saturdays, and arrive at Munich Airport at 12:25 p.m. the next day. From Munich, flights will depart at 12:30 p.m. on every day except Sundays, and arrive back in Detroit at 4:00 p.m.

Delta’s 767-400s are equipped with 40 lie-flat seats in Delta One, the carrier’s business-class section, 28 seats in Delta Comfort+, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 178 seats in coach. Seats in the Delta one cabin are 21” wide, and have a pitch of 76.5” to 81.4”.

The new service will be in addition to Delta’s current flights between Detroit and Frankfurt and Atlanta to Munich.
