ANA to Increase Flights Between Tokyo and Shanghai

All Nippon Airways announced that it plans to increase service on its route linking Tokyo Haneda and Shanghai.

The carrier currently operates one daily flight on the route, and that will increase to two daily flights with the start of the winter timetable on October 25. On February 1, 2016, the airline will add a third daily flight.

The flight that starts in February flights will depart Tokyo at 10:00 p.m. and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 12:35 a.m. the next morning. From Shanghai, slights are set to depart at 1:45 a.m. and arrive back in Tokyo at 5:25 a.m.

The carrier will operate the additional flights using Boeing 777-200 aircraft, equipped with 70 seats in business class, 36 seats in premium economy, and 117 seats in economy. Seats in business class are 20” wide, and have a pitch of 63”.
