Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new daily service between Seattle and Raleigh, North Carolina. The carrier will operate the service using Boeing 737-900 aircraft.

Flights are scheduled to depart Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 8:40 a.m. and arrive at Raleigh-Durham International Airport at 4:40 p.m. From Raleigh, flights will depart at 5:50 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 9:00 p.m.

Alaska’s 737-900s are equipped with 16 seats in first class and 165 in economy class. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 36”.

Raleigh/Durham is the sixth destination that Alaska has begun serving this year. Last month, the carrier launched service between Seattle and Nashville, as well as service between Seattle and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
