Omni King Edward Hotel Reopens Following Completion of Renovation

Omni Hotels and Resorts announced the reopening of the Omni King Edward hotel in Toronto, Canada following an extensive $40 million renovation.

The hotel’s guestrooms were remodeled to include new furniture and beds as well as marble bathrooms.  In addition, the property added the Royal Club, 29 guestrooms and suites that offer special amenities such as access to the VIP Royal Club Lounge, complimentary breakfast, snacks, and evening hors d’oeuvres.

The Vanity Fair Ballroom was completely renovated and the Sovereign Ballroom  received four new crystal chandeliers, and there were minor changes made to the Windsor Ballroom. The hotel’s 22,000 square feet (2,403 square meters) of smaller meeting and event space was also redone.

The lobby’s decorative plasterwork on the ceiling and walls were restored, and new furnishings in ivory, gold, and purple were added.

In addition to the renovations, the hotel announced new menu items at its restaurant.
