JetBlue to Begin Syracuse-Fort Lauderdale Flights

DSC_0463JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new daily seasonal service between Syracuse and Fort Lauderdale this winter. The carrier will operate the route between January 13, 2016 and May 1, 2016.

Flights will depart Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 11:30 a.m. and arrive at Syracuse Hancock International Airport at 2:33 p.m. From Syracuse, flights are scheduled to depart at 3:10 p.m. and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 6:31 p.m.

JetBlue will operate the route using Embraer E190 aircraft. The planes are equipped with 16 seats in Even More Space, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 84 seats in economy. Premium economy lite-seats are 18.25” wide, and have a pitch of 39”.

JetBlue first began service to Syracuse in 2001.
