InterContinental Hotels Group announced the opening of the Hotel Indigo Pittsburgh East Liberty in Pennsylvania.   The property is the first of its kind to be located in the state.

The property is made up of four different buildings, each representative of four different eras of the city’s history. Guestrooms are pet-friendly, and feature complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, hard-surface floors, and what IHG calls “spa-inspired showers.”

Guests can dine at Wallace’s TapRoom, which offers American fare and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant also houses a bar, which features rum from Wigle’s Craft Spirits, the first distillery in Pittsburgh since Prohibition.

The property also has 2,400 square feet (222 square meters) of meeting and event space, as well as the brand’s neighborhood guide, an interactive touchscreen display where guests can explore the local neighborhood and other Hotel Indigo properties around the world.
