Boeing Delivers Emirates’ 150th 777

DSC_0121Emirates Airline announced that it took delivery of three Boeing 777s, marking the 150th 777 in the carrier’s fleet.  The order, which consisted of two 777-300ERs and one 777 Freighter, was the first time in 15 years that Boeing has delivered three 777s at one time to a single customer.

The Boeing 777-300ER can seat up to 386 passengers in a three-class configuration.  The aircraft has a maximum range of 7,930 nautical miles (14,685 kilometers).

The 777 Freighter is the largest and longest range twin-engine freighter in the world.  The plane has a range of 4,900 nautical miles (9,070 kilometers).

In addition to the new deliveries, Emirates currently has an additional 46 777-300ERs on order from Boeing.  The carrier is the largest 777 customer in the world.
