Boeing Delivers Emirates’ 150th 777
Emirates Airline announced that it took delivery of three Boeing 777s, marking the 150th 777 in the carrier’s fleet. The order, which consisted of two 777-300ERs and one 777 Freighter, was the first time in 15 years that Boeing has delivered three 777s at one time to a single customer.
The Boeing 777-300ER can seat up to 386 passengers in a three-class configuration. The aircraft has a maximum range of 7,930 nautical miles (14,685 kilometers).
The 777 Freighter is the largest and longest range twin-engine freighter in the world. The plane has a range of 4,900 nautical miles (9,070 kilometers).
In addition to the new deliveries, Emirates currently has an additional 46 777-300ERs on order from Boeing. The carrier is the largest 777 customer in the world.
