American to Launch Dallas-Merida, Mexico Route
American Airlines announced that it will begin new service between Dallas and Merida, Mexico on March 3, 2016. The carrier will operate the service five times a week.
Flights are scheduled to depart Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 12:30 p.m. and arrive at Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport in Merida at 2:50 p.m. From Merida, flights will depart at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Dallas/Fort Worth at 6:20 p.m.
Merida, located in the western part of the Yucatán peninsula, is the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán. The city is approximately 186 miles (300 kilometers) west of Cancun.
Earlier this year, American began non-stop service between Dallas and Beijing.
