American Airlines will begin to offer service from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to four destinations it previously served starting later this year.

Starting December 17, the carrier will offer daily service from LaGuardia to Orlando International Airport. The flight will be operated using a Boeing 737-800.  It will depart New York at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at 10 a.m.  The return flight will leave Orlando at 10:45 a.m. and arrive in New York at 1:30 p.m.

On January 5, 2016, the Fort Worth-based carrier will begin to operate three flights per day – early morning, midday, and afternoon/evening – from LaGuardia to three additional cities, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis.

American will operate these flights using Embraer ERJ-170 regional jets with nine first class seats and 60 seats in coach.

The airline is reducing the number of flights between Philadelphia International Airport and LaGuardia to gain back some of the slots it needs for the new flights.
