Air China Inaugurates Beijing-Montreal Route

Air China announced the launch of new service between Beijing and Montreal. The route is the first transpacific non-stop service between Asia and the Canadian city.

Flights will depart Beijing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Montreal at 1:50 p.m. local time.  From Montreal, flights are scheduled to depart at 4:20 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 6:00 p.m. the next day.

Air China will operate the service using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with eight lie-flat seats in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class, and 261 seats in economy.  First-class seats are 23” wide, and have a pitch of 80”, while seats in business class have a pitch of 60” and a width of 22”.

Air China currently offers 10 flights a week between China and Canada.  Montreal will be the carrier’s seventh destination in North America, in addition to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Vancouver, and Washington, D.C.
