Air Canada Rouge to Add Service to Budapest, Casablanca, Glasgow, Prague, and Warsaw
Air Canada announced that it plans to launch service to five new seasonal destinations next summer, including four cities in Europe and one in Africa. All of the new flights will be operated by Air Canada rouge, a subsidiary of Air Canada.
Between May 29, 2016 and September 29, 2016, the carrier will offer three weekly flights between Toronto and Prague, Czech Republic. Flights will depart Toronto at 4:55 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Prague at 7:20 a.m. the following day. From Prague, flights are scheduled to depart at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive in Toronto at 12:40 p.m.
On June 3 the carrier will launch service from Montreal to Casablanca, Morocco. The service, which will run through October 17, will be Air Canada’s first ever to Africa.
Flights will depart Montreal at 9:40 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Casablanca at 10:00 a.m. the next morning. Flights from Casablanca to Montreal will depart at 11:55 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 2:45 p.m.
The airline will then launch service between Toronto and Budapest, Hungary on June 10. Flights will depart Toronto at 10:35 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and will arrive in Budapest at 1:35 p.m. Return flights will depart at 3:05 p.m. and arrive in Toronto at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The service will last through October 15.
Between June 13 and September 25, the carrier will offer service to Glasgow, Scotland from Toronto, with flights departing Toronto at 6:55 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, arriving at 6:40 a.m. the following day. From Glasgow, flights will depart at 8:25 a.m. and arrive in Toronto at 10:50 a.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
On June 16, Air Canada rouge will begin service between Toronto and Warsaw, Poland. Flights will depart Toronto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and arrive in Warsaw at 9:30 a.m. the following day, with flights from Warsaw to Toronto departing at 11:00 a.m. and arriving at 2:50 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The service will last through September 30.
All new routes will be operated using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Air Canada rouge began operations in July 2013 and currently serves a variety of leisure destinations in the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
