Virgin Atlantic Airways and Delta Air Lines announced the opening of a new lounge at the O2, an entertainment venue, in London. The lounge, NY-LON, is named to celebrate the partnership between the two airlines that offers flights between London Heathrow and New York.

The lounge is aviation-themed and centered around a bar built to resemble an aircraft engine.  A secret meeting room in the lounge can seat up to 16 people and can be reserved by the hour or day.

The lounge menu offers patrons items that represent both New York and London, including Brooklyn crab salad and Billingsgate fish pie, as well as cocktails such as the London Vesper and Stateside.

The NY-LON lounge can accommodate up to 300 people. In addition, members of Virgin Atlantic’s and Delta’s airline loyalty programs, Flying Club and SkyMiles, will be offered various benefits and discounts at the lounge.

Virgin Atantic and Delta offer a total of ten daily flights between London and New York, including eight to John F. Kennedy International Airport and two to Newark Liberty.
