United Airlines Expands In-Flight Entertainment Options on Some Regional Jets

United Airlines announced it is launching complimentary personal device entertainment options as part of its United Private Screening system.  The service includes new movies as well as HBO shows that can be streamed to mobile devices on two-cabin United Express regional jets.

Passengers can view films such as “Birdman,” “The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” and the “Taken” trilogy as well as “The Lego Movie,” and episodes of HBO series including “Entourage,” “Game of Thrones,” and “True Detective.”

In addition, curated content from Vevo, a music video and entertainment platform, will be available for streaming.

Passengers can view the new content on laptop computers, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.
