DSC_0289Icelandair announced plans to launch new service from Reykjavik to Aberdeen, Scotland next year.

The flights, which will connect Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik to Aberdeen Airport, will commence on March 9, 2015.  The carrier plans to operate the service four times a week, on Mondays Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Aberdeen will be the airline’s second destination in Scotland, and the sixth in the United Kingdom.

Earlier this year, Icelandair announced that it would make its seasonal service between Reykjavik and Brussels into year-round service on October 25.

The airline offers connections to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe from Keflavik International Airport.
