Carrier Announcing Larger Aircraft and New Business-Class Cabins on U.S. Flights

All Nippon Airways that it will launch service to various new destinations from Tokyo by the end of this year.  The carrier also said that fully lie-flat seats in business class are now available on all flights to the U.S. mainland.

On October 25, the airline will begin service from Tokyo Haneda to Guangzhou, as well as service from Tokyo Narita to Brussels.  Also on that date, ANA will increase service on its routes from Tokyo Haneda to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

These will be followed by new service from Tokyo Haneda to Sydney on December 10.

The Tokyo-based carrier said it will be operating larger aircraft and planes with new cabin interiors on some North American routes.  The change means that all business-class cabins to the continental United States will have new fully lie-flat seats.

As a result of the new flights and changes, ANA will reduce or suspend various flights.  These include service from Tokyo Narita to Beijing, which the airline will reduce from 14 to seven flights a week, and from Tokyo Narita to Paris, which the carrier will suspend.
