Xiamen Airlines Begins Xiamen-Amsterdam Flights
Route will be Carrier’s First Intercontinental Service
Xiamen Airlines announced the launch of new service between Xiamen and Amsterdam, the carrier’s first intercontinental route. The airline will operate the service three days a week, using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Flights will depart Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport in Southeast China at 11:50 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol at 5:45 a.m. the next day. From Amsterdam, flights are scheduled to depart at 12:35 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and arrive in Xiamen at 5:30 a.m.
Xiamen Airlines’ 787 Dreamliners are equipped with four lie-flat seats in first class, 18 lie-flat seats in business class, and 214 seats in economy class. First-class seats are 26” wide and have a bed length of 77”.
Along with Xiamen Airlines’ new route, KLM, a codeshare partner of Xiamen, currently offers three weekly flights between Amsterdam and Xiamen.
