Wyndham announced that it plans to open three new hotels across China over the next four years.  The properties will be located in Hainan, Qingshi Bay, and on the Taling Peninsula.

The Wyndham Sanya Bay will be situated on the island of Hainan, the southernmost point in China, and will be part of a mixed-use development.  The hotel will have 400 guestrooms, a fitness center, a business center, spa, and an outdoor pool.  It is slated to open later this year.

Opening in late 2017, the Wyndham Hainan Qingshui Bay Resort will also be part of a mixed-use development, located along Qingshui Bay, and will provide private beaches and approximately 200 guestrooms.  The hotel will also have a pool, fitness center, and beach bar, as well as a ballroom as part of its meeting space.

Located in Taling Peninsula, North Shore, Taiping Lake, the Wyndham Grand Huangshan Taiping Lake will open in early 2019, and will have approximately 300 guestrooms, as well as a fitness center, pool, and spa.  The property will also have three restaurants and meeting space consisting of a ballroom and various function rooms.
