DSC_0027 (1)Sabre announced new tools that will allow small and independent hotels to compete better with global hotel chains.

Sabre Business Travel Services is designed to help smaller chains and properties connect with business travel buyers and travel management companies.  As a result, corporate travelers will be able to stay at such properties while being in compliance with corporate travel policies.  The services will allow buyers to identify, negotiate, and contract with more hotels that meet their requirements.

The tools allow hotels to integrate negotiated rate data into the hotel’s reservation system and the travel buyer’s online and offline travel management systems.  It uses Sabre’s Sabre Hotel RFP technology, adding a new tier, BT Advantage, which provides corporate travel managers with access to hundreds of these smaller properties, and Global Account Management, which allows travel buyers to send Requests for Proposals to thousands of pre-qualified independent properties.

“Our Business Travel Services simplify that process by helping hotels compete for valuable business travel contracts and helping corporations get the most from their travel budgets,” said Alex Alt, president of Sabre Hospitality Solutions.
